    York Goes to Broadway!

    New York City
York’s Choir and Chamber Choir are thrilled to announce our upcoming trip to New York City, where we will perform in the Broadway Series production of Anastasia at the prestigious David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, on February 15, 2025. This incredible opportunity will immerse our students in the professional world of Broadway, as they work with a distinguished creative team, including Sarah Hartmann (Stage Director), Tom Murray (Music Director), and with a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty, and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.

During our trip, we will not only take the stage but also experience the magic of Broadway firsthand. Our itinerary includes seeing two Broadway musicals, visiting the Broadway Museum, and exploring The Met. This adventure offers a unique glimpse into the life of a Broadway performer, combining professional-level rehearsals and performances with cultural exploration in the heart of New York City.

Last year, we were honored to participate in the Children of Eden event, part of the Broadway Series' triumphant return to David Geffen Hall. Now, as we prepare for Anastasia, we look forward to another unforgettable experience. Stay tuned for more details, including cast announcements and additional information about this exciting production!
