Boys Basketball Wins First League Title in 20 Years
The PCAL Santa Lucia Division All-League Teams for the Winter 24-25 season have been announced, and the York Boys Basketball team, which had a flagship season, won a League title for the first time in 20 years, advancing to the CCS playoffs!
The players were recognized by their opponents and the PCAL Santa Lucia League with the following accolades:
MVP: Gianni Zeljo ‘27
Defensive Player of the Year: Dedome Demagbo ‘28
First Team: Gianni Zeljo ‘27, Dedome Demagbo ‘28, Miles Fadem ‘25, Kai Tsuchitani ‘27
Second Team: Bryan Kim ‘25
Sportsmanship Team: Jude Epega ‘28
