York Alum and Sierra Club Executive Director Ben Jealous to Speak at Pacific Grove Library
On March 14th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM, join the Pacific Grove Library for a Book Talk with New York Times best-selling author, Ben Jealous. His newest book "Never Forget Our People Were Always Free: A Parable of American Healing" was just released in January.
Benjamin Todd Jealous "Ben", a civil rights leader, organizer, scholar, and journalist, grew up in Pacific Grove, spending summers in Baltimore. He earned a master’s degree from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and led the NAACP as the youngest-ever president and CEO of the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization.
